Tegra Medical was established in October 2007 with the acquisition of three trusted firms: New England Precision Grinding (Holliston, MA), Accu-Met Laser (Cranston, RI) and American Medical Instruments (Dartmouth, MA) by Riverside Partners, LLC (Boston, MA). Founded in 1989, Riverside Partners is a middle market private equity firm focused on growth oriented companies primarily in the healthcare and technology industries. The partners at Riverside have managed more than $500 million in investments in over 50 companies.
We provide expert manufacturing solutions for complex wire and tubular products for the medical device and life sciences industry. Since our start more than 30 years ago, we’ve become a leading supplier of precision grinding and specialty needles. We added laser processing, electronic discharge machining (EDM) and various CNC machining and secondary operations over the years to expand our capabilities. Today we have nearly 300 associates and 140,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.
